Dash Snow:
Dashiell A. Snow(1981年7月27日 – 2009年7月13日)は、NYを拠点に活動するAmericaのArtist。慈善活動とAmerica美術のCollectionで知られるde Menil家の末裔である。Snowの写真には、Sex、Drug、暴力、Artの世界の見せかけのシーンが素直に描かれており、NYの若いArtistたちの退廃的なLife Styleとその社会的Circleを記録している。 彼の作品によく登場するArtistの友人には、Dan Colen、Ryan McGinley、Terence Koh、Dashの前妻Agathe Snowなどがいる。(wikipedia)

Dash Snowは、1990年代後半にNew YorkのDowntownのStreetでArtistとして自分の道を切り開くために、特権階級の生活を拒否しました。悪名高いGraffiti Taggerから国際的なArt Starへと成長した彼は、2009年にHeroinの過剰摂取で亡くなる前に、友人や仲間のArtistであるRyan McGinleyやDan Colenと共に形成した代理家族との間で、薬物やアルコールに溺れた夜の様子を記録しました。Snowの忘れられない作品群とArchive映像をもとに、Cheryl Dunnの卓越したPortraitは、彼の無謀な過剰と創造性に満ちた短い人生を捉えています。
